About This Game Carmageddon is the original freeform driving sensation, where pedestrians (and cows!) equal points, and your opponents are a bunch of crazies in a twisted mix of automotive killing machines. The game features anarchic drive-wherever-you-like gameplay and over-the-top surreal comedy violence. It’s the racing game where racing is for wimps. Now the same Mac & PC classic that was BANNED AROUND THE WORLD is back!Carmageddon features real-world environments that have been turned into killing fields, where the locals stay out on the streets at their peril. As well as using your car as a weapon, every level is sprinkled generously with power-ups that have a vast variety of mad effects, adding a whole extra level of craziness to the proceedings. In every event you have the option to “play it your way”… Waste all your opponents, kill every pedestrian, or (perish the thought) complete all the laps. Oh and watch out – the cops in their super-tough armoured patrol vehicles are lurking, and if they catch you being bad they’ll be down on you like several tons of cold pork."Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Members of the public, you have ONE minute to reach minimum safe distance!"Crazy range of vehicles and drivers, each with their own personality and driving style. The game that pioneered true 3D physics, The game that pioneered dynamic vehicle damageThe game that pioneered splattering grannies. And cows.In fact, splatter a wide range of seriously scared pedestrians. 28 dangerously deranged Opponents11 wildly exhilarating EnvironmentsCareer Mode featuring 36 satisfyingly violent LevelsRace and Wreck opponents to unlock 30 playable cars!Over 40 fun-packed Power Ups and “Power Downs”.Great open world track design allowing complete freedom to explore.Hidden bonus areas to find. Ludicrously satisfying, arcade-style gameplay. The aim is for the player to work their way up the ranking system, from 99th place to first. The player vehicle is pitted against a number of computer controlled competitors, in locations such as cities, mines and desert towns. Levels can be beaten in one of three ways:Completing all the laps of the race course, as one would a normal racing game."Wasting" (wrecking) all the opponents vehicles.Killing all the pedestrians in the area. Each level has a time limit, but more time may be gained by passing through checkpoints, collecting powerups, damaging/destroying the competitors' cars, and by running over pedestrians (with bonuses awarded for style). These actions also reward the player with Credits, which can be used to make instant repairs or recover the car (after falling down a chasm, for example). They can also be used to upgrade Armour, Power and Offense stats in the Parts Shop between races. This is also the time to switch which car to drive if others have been obtained. As well as opponents partaking in the 'race', some levels also contain a number of heavily armored Cop Cars, which will activate their sirens and hound the player when provoked. They can be attacked and destroyed, but do not count as opponents. A single "Super Squad Car" exists in one level, and it can be claimed if destroyed. An Action Replay with multiple camera viewpoints is available at any point during a race.Carmageddon won the “Game of the Year” trophy in the 1997 PC Zone Reader awards. Carmageddon 1 & 2 were “Driving Game of the Year” 1997/1998.SELECTED REVIEWS OF THE ORIGINAL GAMEOriginally released for the PC in 1997, Carmageddon was an instant hit and the titles went on to sell over 2 million copies worldwide. Here’s what a sample of the gaming press thought at the time:“Carmageddon is visceral, violent, vehicular fun...” - GameSpot 8.8 out of 10“Carmageddon, to get straight to the point, is one of the best computer games I've ever played… Carmageddon is God!” - Duncan McDonald 95% Classic Award PC Zone Magazine“Carmageddon is one of those games that only come along once in a blue moon. An essential purchase.” - Escape Magazine 6 out of 6“The gameplay is spot on and anyone with a dark enough sense of humour should give it a go.” - Computer Gaming World 4 out of 5“So next time you gun down coppers on GTA VI, just remember, Carmageddon’s controversy was there first, and you have a lot to thank it for.” - RetroGardenCarmageddon is the first of a series of graphically violent driving-oriented video games. It was conceived and developed by Stainless Games, published by SCi and released June 30, 1997 on PC & Mac.It was, and remains, a poster child for video game controversy. The controversy surrounded the game's central premise; that of earning reward for running down innocent pedestrians. The game was notable for its realistic and ground-breaking physics, and for its in-game action replay features. It was also one of the earliest examples of a sandbox 3D driving game, and may have influenced other later games including the Driver and Grand Theft Auto series.ABOUT STAINLESS GAMESStainless was founded in 1994 by Patrick Buckland, a veteran of the games industry going back to the Jurassic period of 1982, and Neil Barnden, who used to have hair like a mammoth. A team of 8 worked on the original Carmageddon at Stainless, and 5 are still with the company today, although a couple of them are now kept manacled in a small padded room in the cellar.Stainless Games now employs around one hundred mad, dedicated people of assorted gender, height and width. They can all be found dangling precariously from a small chalky rock just off the South Coast of England.http://www.carmageddon.com/buggerhttp://www.carmageddon.com 7aa9394dea Title: Carmageddon Max PackGenre: Action, Indie, RacingDeveloper:Stainless Games LtdPublisher:THQ NordicFranchise:CarmageddonRelease Date: 30 Jun, 1997 Carmageddon Max Pack Ativador Download [PC] carmageddon max pack 3dfx. carmageddon tdr max pack. carmageddon max pack pc download. carmageddon tdr 2000 max pack. carmageddon max pack full hd. carmageddon max pack steam key. carmageddon splat pack windows 7 скачать. carmageddon max pack torrent. carmageddon max pack mega. carmageddon max pack system requirements. carmageddon tdr max pack. carmageddon max pack change resolution. carmageddon splat pack windows 7 скачать. carmageddon max pack password. carmageddon max pack 3dfx. carmageddon max pack torrent. carmageddon max pack apk. carmageddon tdr 2000 max pack 1.15. carmageddon max pack wiki. carmageddon tdr 2000 max pack. carmageddon max pack save games. carmageddon max pack full hd. carmageddon max pack hd. carmageddon max pack save games. carmageddon max pack multiplayer. carmageddon splat pack torrent. carmageddon tdr 2000 max pack download. carmageddon max pack gog. carmageddon max pack chomikuj. carmageddon splat pack torrent. carmageddon max pack cars. carmageddon max pack wiki. carmageddon max pack system requirements. carmageddon max pack multiplayer. carmageddon max pack skidrow. carmageddon max pack. carmageddon max pack full screen. carmageddon max pack steam key. carmageddon max pack change resolution. carmageddon max pack slow. carmageddon max pack pc download. carmageddon max pack free download. carmageddon max pack chomikuj. carmageddon tdr 2000 max pack 1.15 To think this game came out in 1997 yet is still so playable and satisfying today with its solid gameplay.CARMAGEDDON is a pure visceral thrill ride of stress venting that leaves me totally relaxed afterwards with its amazing though exaggerated physics system as one crashes into oppenant's racing cars seeing them take physical dents along with falling parts damage from the high speed impact. Its great to see touches of realism like ones engine smoking after taking a headon collision. This same smoke will obscure your vision just enough to make hitting oppenants and pedestrians a bit more difficult but in a fun non frustrating way.Enemy ai is very well done with them giving the illusion of having their own purposes. Sometimes they'll ignore you while going against other racers and other times they'll hunt you down for many a street city block especially if you just bumped into them "accidently" :D Pedestrians will scream in terror at your approach and will start running for their stinking lives when they see you racing like a bat out of hell down the street.Graphics are sweet in their brutality. It is quite a joy mowing down an old granny in a walker who reminds you of a certain passive aggressive senior citizen we have all had to deal with. CARMAGEDDON takes the wait out of waiting for the nursing home staff to show up to take them away as they scream in terror before you pile drive them with your race car against a building wall sending guts eyeballs and entrails flying everywhere. Ooo and what a squishy sound they make as i run over their dead bodies afterward. Then theres the sexy boys... ooo i hate sexy boys!Sound effects are top notch from the screeching grind of cars rubbing up against a building to the POW! of crashing into public telephones and street lights. Its a real riot hearing pedestrians death screams when scoring points for killing them along with time bonuses. If one does a fancy move or stunt while killing them one is awarded even more points and or cash. Hearing your character cracking jokes or cursing really adds to the sense of immersion.A timeless classic full of black humor and relaxing venting still absolutely playable and still gives any "modern" racing game a run for its money. Thanks Interplay and SCi for the endless fun :D. Best Game Ever !. Quite simply the greatest racing game of all time. Think Death Race 2000 (the original, not the crappy remake) on the PC.I have wasted literally days of my life playing Carmageddon over the last 20 years. English developer Stainless Software's "antidote to racing games" was originally intended to be a demolition derby type of game. Both the Mad Max and Death Race 2000 licenses were considered, but fell through, and what emerged from that was Carmageddon. Breaking from British racing game tradition, Carmageddon isn't about finishing first. I don't even think the opponents can actually finish the race at all. They just drive around, crashing into each other. It's more like Twisted Metal, but without weaponry. Each stage is set in a sandbox-type level filled with hundreds of pedestrians and a few armoured police vehicles. There are three ways to complete a stage. Either you do all the laps, but like I mentioned you get no competition from the opponents; you destroy your opponents by crashing into them, which can be a little tricky at times because it seems like you have to hit them at the right angle to do damage; or you run down and kill all the pedestrians, which can take quite a while. To progress in the game you have to increase your rank. You start at number 99 and have to work your way up to number 1 to unlock the last stage. In order to increase your rank you have to get a certain amount of credits on each stage, depending on which difficulty you're playing on. You get credits for running people over, crashing into your opponents, going through checkpoints, etc. You lose credits if you reset or repair your car, which is done by the press of a button while driving. The car kind of buckles out like in the John Carpenter film Christine, which is cool. There's a time limit on each race, which at first may seem kind of low, but you easily gain time in the same way you gain credits, except you won't get any time for actually racing. Controlling your car in Carmageddon isn't the easiest thing to do. I can't really think of a game with similar steering. When you're driving slowly you have decent control, but when you get up to speed and try to turn it's like the car understeers, or a slight turn could make you lose grip and spin out. I usually use the handbrake for cornering, drifting tens of meters completely sideways before gaining traction again. It could be that the lower than normal gravity impacts the steering. At least it effects the way you jump, which is quite cool and makes the game more unique. It's sort of like racing on the Moon. The game's biggest draw is being able to run people down and being awarded for it. It's not a very challenging game, but it's a relaxing one where you can just sit back and have fun. If you destroy your opponents cars you sometimes unlock them and can use them yourself. They all have a unique cockpit view, if you're into first person racing. Some of them have better steering, some are more powerful, and some are faster, especially a drag racing car which goes insanely fast but can barely steer. My favorite car is the one you start with, because it's the most balanced one, plus it's modelled after David Carradine's car in Death Race 2000. There's a handful of locations in the game, from the big city to the coast, a chemical plant, a winter resort, etc. You'll have to revisit these places a number of times, racing different routes. This gets a bit repetitious because the routes often cross previous routes, and if you drive around trying to destroy your opponents or kill pedestrians, it's basically just like playing the same stages over and over again, considering they take place in the same sandboxes. The game is a little too long for its own good, but if you play it a little here and there instead of plowing through it in a couple of seatings, it's great fun!----------Carmageddon Splat Pack, which is also included in the Max Pack, is an expansion for the original Carmageddon, containing a bunch of new levels and a number of new cars. There are new pedestrians as well, and some new power-ups, but since the levels are the main thing I'll give some short comments on those. Mayan Magnificence Hotels: Set in a Central or South American hotel resort with architecture resembling the ancient local civilizations. Well-designed map that is fun to play. MagnaChem Rural Developments Inc.: Rocky and green prison island surrounded by mountains. Not that exciting. Lots of fluffy sheep though. MagnaChem Abandoned Ice Station: Snowy industrial roads with gaps you have to jump every now and again. Nothing special. Craggy Isle Dam Complex: This map consists of two islands: one is bright and colorful, with palm trees and a small nice town, and the other is dull and gray, with a boring dam in the middle. MagnaChem Environmental Disaster: Kind of lackluster. A bunch of high bridges binding together a bunch of small dusty islands. Nerdberksring Race Circuit: Actually a proper race track. Adds some variation to the mayhem, but it would be nice if the level had some stunt jumps as well. Musty Ramparts Theme Castle: A large medieval castle filled with hallways. Good for smashing into the other cars. There's also a gravel road that goes through a decently sized outdoor area. And last but not least, and possibly spoiler alert since you only get to play this map at the very end: Hell: A big and confusing map that takes place in the underworld, complete with a graveyard, lava pits and burning demons, a flaming bar, Eskimos on ice, and the Devil himself. Takes some time to learn, but once you know how to get around the level is pretty fun. ----------This release isn't exactly remastered, but I could get it to play fine in 1920x1080. It runs through DOSBox and works fairly well. I'll give it a solid 3 out of 5 car crashes!
